Meet The Artist

Nikki Green ~ From The Artist

In case you are wondering, here's the back story on the name. It actually started with a vision I had to cover up unsightly things, like old window units, ugly wall thermometers, unsightly electrical boxes etc. You see, I grew up in lots of apartments for most of my childhood and they desperately needed help! I was starting to dabble in bead work that I picked up from Michael's Craft Store and next thing I knew, the addiction had begun...

While taking some classes at the Lapidary Society, I saw a class being offered for silversmithing and I jumped right in. The obsession was starting to grow... It would be many years later that I bought my first hand held torch and began to teach myself how to solder.

That brings us to the present, I design and create lifetime jewelry out of sustainable upcycled materials, hand picked gemstones and various metals. I am a self taught silversmith, metalsmith, boss lady. (I wear many, many, many hats, you have NO idea). I forge something from nothing but a piece of sheet metal, wire or scraps. I am one with the flame and the metal and there are literally NO words to describe the feelings of creating these pieces with all of my heart and soul. I thrive in the daily challenge of making new and unique pieces of jewelry with my own two hands, getting dirty and most of all firing up my torch. Seeing the end result in the happy faces of my customers and how they connect with my jewelry is all the reward I need! I hope you stick around and enjoy this incredible, thrill seeking journey with me. Thank you for supporting my one woman biz from the bottom of my flaming heart!!!

Sit back with a cuppa tea or a cocktail (yes, this is a judge free zone) and enjoy shopping and please let me know how I can help you!

I do customs as long as I have spots available.

Creatively yours,

The "Colorful" Mrs. Nikki Green
